Our History

Our journey began in London, where my wife and I were both immersed in the fast-paced world of hospitality. While we valued the experience and energy that city life provided, we found ourselves drawn to the idea of something quieter, more grounded, and closer to nature. We felt ready for a change!

It was after leaving the city we discovered a shared passion for gardening. We invested in our very first greenhouse, a very simple structure at the time, and quickly fell in love. There is something uniquely rewarding about watching the first green shoots emerge through rich compost, the delicate unfurling of leaves catching the morning light, and the gradual transformation into vibrant flowers or abundant vegetables. Those early days were filled with experimentation, learning, and a growing appreciation for the craftsmanship and design that a well-built greenhouse can offer.

Before long, our enthusiasm evolved into a clear vision: to turn our passion into a business that could help others experience the same satisfaction and joy we had discovered. Over twenty years on, we have been proudly building and installing greenhouses, landscaping and designing gardens for customers, guiding them with honest advice and practical expertise to ensure they choose the right solution for their needs.

For those who prefer a fully managed experience, we are able to oversee the entire process on your behalf, coordinating suppliers, organising trades, managing timelines, and ensuring that each stage progresses smoothly and efficiently. Today, our installers, alongside my wife Tanya, form the family run and owned Good Life team. Together, we share one simple goal: to match you with the right greenhouse or garden building for your lifestyle, your space, and your aspirations — helping you create your own sanctuary where you can grow, relax, and enjoy the very best of outdoor living.
